2 rounds of 18 holes at the beautiful TBC course . Registration is open. If there is a division not listed that you would like and if we can get 3 for that division we will open it up. Trophies have to be ordered by 9/7 to get them in time for the event. .

Shotgun start at 9:30 am- The schedule has been posted.
Ace Pool- If no one hits an ace, we will have a throw off for those who have paid into the pool.

50/50 will be split between 2 rounds

A 100% refund is available until the tournament reaches full capacity and is within one week of the event. After which 100% refund is dependent on filling the vacant spot. If spot does not fill, 50% of the entry fee will be forfeit.

Refunds requested within 24 hours of the event starting are subject to 50% of the entry fee being forfeited if the vacant spot can be filled. Otherwise, 100% of the entry fee is forfeit if the spot does not fill. Players forfeiting their entire entry fee are entitled to their player's package but must request package and provide address to be shipped to. Players have up to a week after the event to request their player's package, otherwise the player's package becomes forfeit.

2021 TBC Open Course Layout
The course for the TBC Open will be a layout similar to our BCDGC league teeing locations for all divisions with some increased length added to the MPO/AM1 fields. Tee blocks will be placed together for all of the twelve combined locations while on the six others they will be separated. All divisions besides MPO/AM1 will be playing the yellow tees while the latter will play the red tees. The course will be set up by Wednesday, 9/29 for practice play until tourney day including OB’s and all are detailed below.

-Tee block locations for all besides AM1/MPO will be the Yellow tees
-Tee block locations (Combined Tee Blocks) for all divisions on holes
• 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,11,14,15,17,18
-Tee block locations for AM1/MPO with added length (Red Tees)
• 5,9,10,12,13,16


2021 TBC Open OB/Mando Explanation
• Out of bounds and mandos are an expanded BCDGC league layout with increased difficulty for the tourney. Out of bounds specifics per hole below.
• Per PDGA rules: If any part of a disc is in-bounds then the disc is not penalized. All discs that are OB will be assessed one stroke penalty. Details on drops and lies are per hole below.
• Mandos on #5, #11 and 17# if missed, play from drop zone with one stroke penalty. Drop zones will be listed below.
• If you have any questions, finish the hole both ways and we can figure out the proper scoring later. Reach out to the TD with any questions.


Out of Bounds and Mandos Detailed:
o #1 creek is out of bounds. 1 meter in or nearest group agreed “safe” lie and play from there with one stroke penalty.
o #2 rock garden (Rope line) by green is OB. Creek and over is OB. One meter in and play from there with a one stroke penalty.
o #3 Creek in or over is OB. One meter in and play from there with a one stroke penalty.
o #5 OB Lines are clearly marked from mando post around the green to the other mando post. Play drop zone shot for OB /missed mando on drives only (blue blocks). Mando is missed if you are passed the pole, group call. Any other out of bound shot after the drive is played like any other out of bound shot. One meter in and play from there with a one stroke penalty.
o #10 creek and beyond is out of bounds. Bridges are out of bounds. 1 meter in or nearest group agreed “safe” lie and play from there. If disc lies on steep slope going down to the water on the right but not in or beyond water, bring lie up to nearest group agreed “safe” lie and play from there with no penalty.
o #11 drive must go left of mando tree with the sign. If mando is missed and your shot passes to the right of the mando tree (trunk with sign), proceed to the drop zone. Play your next shot from the drop zone with one stroke penalty.
o #12 the water is out of bounds. 1 meter in, or nearest safe lie, and play from there. Rope line on green and the added bunker is marked by rope and is OB. Play these lies from where it lies in OB due to being playable surface with 1 stroke penalty.
o #13 is treated as an island on drives only. OB is denoted by the rope line and water. If you miss the island on drive, proceed to the drop zone and play your next shot from there with a 1 stroke penalty. If you go OB from the drop zone, drop 1 meter in from where your shot went OB and play from there with one stroke penalty.
o #14 and #16 the water is out of bounds. 1 meter in and play from there with one stroke penalty.
o #17 drive must go between mando trees. Mando extend upward from center of trunk of tree infinitely, group call. If the mando is missed and your shot passes the mando trees you proceed to the drop zone. Play your next shot from the drop zone with one stroke penalty.
o #18 is treated as an island. The creek and beyond is out of bounds including the bridges and the added rope short denotes the rest of the island. Play the drop zone for OB on drives only. Drop zone is blue blocks toward the bridge. Any other out of bound shot, taking place after the drive, is played like any other out of bound shot (1 meter in and play from there with one stroke penalty).

We will cover the layout quickly during the players meeting the morning of the tourney. Many of the aspects of the course including CTP's and Long Putts will be included in the online scoring app as well.
