Swing, Sip & Shoot
About this tournament
Swing, Sip & Shoot will be a non sanctioned, ball golf and disc golf doubles event! 9 holes of ball golf, 18 holes of disc golf. So grab a partner!
Formatting:
9 Holes Ball Golf will be "two man best ball" format. Each team will consist of two people who are partners. Each person will play their own ball, and whoever has the best score after the hole will be the team score for that hole.
18 Holes Disc Golf will be your normal doubles disc golf. You are required to keep the same partner you played ball golf with.
Layout:
Ball Golf- all divisions play white tees (ladies can play red tees)
Disc Golf- pros will play from blue tees, amateur and mixed will play white tees.
(Even though this is not sanctioned, we will be using ratings to determine division. Pros must play in pro or mixed division. Amateur players are welcome to play in any division.)
Schedule:
8:00- Shotgun start at Ashley Plantation Country Club
11:00- Lunch and Drinks Provided by Mission BBQ
12:30- Shotgun Start at Greenfield Disc Golf Course
Payouts:
Total combined score wins. $500+ in payout pot. Since it is not a sanctioned event, top finishers from all divisions will receive cash payout.
Entry Fees:
All divisions are $80 per team. This includes everything such as golf green fees, cart fees, lunch, and drinks.
Feel free to play a practice round at Greenfield at any time. For practice rounds at Ashley Plantation, please make a tee time online or call them. Each player is responsible for paying for their own practice round.
