Will this layout be set up much before the weekend of the tournament? (Will there be time to practice this specific layout?)

I would like to be withdrawn from the tournament. I cannot play on the date that it has been rescheduled to. Can I get a full refund of the entire amount I paid for me and my partner when I signed us up? The site only shows part of the refund when selecting withdrawal.

The site only allows me to refund half of the cost to each player. You will still receive the full amount but it will be divided between you. This is not my decision, it's how the site operates. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have tried to withdraw from this several times. I can no longer play it due to another tournament. Is there any chance me and Chris Lard can be taken off?

Just curious. Is this on Sept 4th? Or Aug 21st?
I thought it was Aug 21st but I saw it says sept 4th at the top of the page.

As he said, the event was moved to 9/4. An email went out to all players who had registered prior to the announcement

how does my partner get a refund then when they didn't pay initially? will I just be refunded the additional amount in 7 days or is there somewhere that my partner should look for this?

I'll look into it if there is interest. It can be difficult because it needs to be sanctioned to be held at Buchmiller. There is no official "mixed" division. Pretty sure that is why mixed dubs events usually have the whole field mixed.

My wife and I are interested, but if that kind of division is incompatible with sanctioning then I get it. We've been wanting to do a tournament together but she doesn't want to be the only mixed team out there. I've never actually found a mixed doubles event in the area.

I am assuming that this will be Bring Your Own Partner and Best Shot format - can that be confirmed?
As in previous years, pictures of the layout will be posted approximately 10 days before the event. The actual layout cannot be placed until the evening of Friday 9/2 per the Parks Dept. The pictures are generally enough to practice the layout.
