Come play a sanctioned event and be finished in time to catch the top MPO cards at Throw Down The Mountain 8!
The Rich Stine Memorial Event is a tournament created as a fun 1-Round, 1-Day event to raise funds for EDGE Disc Golf. This event is designed to focus on promoting community and fellowship by celebrating Rich's big heart and giving ways when it came to his passion for all facets of Disc Golf.
Entry Fees/Players Pack/Trophies/Charity
All divisions have an Entry Fee of $39, which will include a $4 PDGA/Parks Fee. All players will receive a players pack, valued at a minimum of $40, which will include a Limited Edition Innova disc (player chooses mold) valued at $15-$20, and a host of other items.
$10 from each entry will go to EDGE, in Rich Stine's name. EDGE (Educational Disc Golf Experience) helps promote Disc Golf by providing Disc Golf equipment/curriculum for schools. 2/3 of the funds raised for this event will go to schools in Florida, the remaining 1/3 will go to the national fund.
This is a "Trophy Only" tournament which means all divisions will receive custom trophies in lieu of merchandise/cash payouts.
CFR Disc
Players also have two different options for supporting the tournament. The most common is purchasing a Innova Champion Fund Raiser (CFR) disc. Players receive a 20% discount ($4.00) when they purchase a CFR disc during registration. The choices for this event are TBD.
