This is my first tourney (rec division) so I’m probably ignorant on a lot of this. I see check in is 8:00-8:30 (but not a traditional check in - whatever that means), but where is check in at? I’m assuming hole assignments will be handed out then…? Not sure which course to go to and I haven’t received any info that I can find in my email.

Hey Brooks ... Rec is in B Pool which is playing Frank Lorino first. There will likely be a setup there by the first tee in the pavilion where you can check in, pick up a disc, and find out which hole you are playing. It also may be posted some time tonight on the PDGA event page here: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/50869 . Good luck tomorrow, relax and have fun!

I think what he means, is you check in between 8:00-8:30 to get your players pack and let him know you are present. But no players meeting before the round, just be sure to be at your hole before 9:00.

Yes that is correct Jeff Gary. Kiwanis is not an FLP is.

from the reviews it sounds like Morristown Kiwanis is NOT cart friendly, but FLP looks like it is. Can someone confirm.

Kiwanis has some rocky holes and some elevation on 2 holes. Other than that it’s okay. You’d have trouble on hole 8,9,10,11,14 with rocks. Frank is super cart friendly. Only 3 holes with considerable elevation. 8 11 and 15

Questions about hole 6 at Frank, regarding issues that have come up on my cards at recent tournaments: 1) I'm not sure I understand the point of the mando. Someone suggested that it's to prevent people from bombing a tee shot over the net to the right of the pole to the long basket, but that doesn't really apply to the yellow basket location. The netting blocks most everything else to the right. There is however a foot or two of space at the base of the mando pole, to the right be ... more

It is for safety reasons preventing people from going into the pasture. The fence behind the net is ob I’ll fix the list of obs. The mando is in play on both layouts even if you scoot under the net. It’s really just meant to deter people from throwing a hyzer over the net. As to why it w ... more
