Second, the course has undergone a number of changes. The biggest is that Holes 1 and 2 are not able to be played in their current state due to dangerous trees and widow makers. Players will go from hole 18 to hole 3, and will play Holes 14b and 14c between holes 14 and 15.

All bridges on the course have been removed. This comes directly from the Town; there's nothing we can do about it. Any instances of water crossing are reasonable to step over, but the course is decidedly less cart-friendly. Additionally, the course has a number of woodpiles spread across it. Players will need to exercise caution around these piles. The name of the game this weekend is SAFETY.

We will have morning-of registration for both events. Please arrive in a timely manner if you're going to be registering on the day. If you walk up to me 5 minutes before tee-off, you will be turned away. Because of this, we will be attempting to post hole assignments the night before, but things will likely change. Be sure to double check your hole assignment before leaving for your hole. There are spots available for either day, Singles or Doubles, so if you or a friend are interested, don't hesitate.

And last, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to help at SK over the last few weeks, especially Ryan Van Brunt, Gene Geirka, Tyler Cockcroft, and all the other SK regulars. There are so many of you that I can't remember all the names, and I cannot thank you enough.

I want to thank everyone who came out to help today, but there's just no way we'll have everything ready in time for tomorrow or even Sunday. We just keep finding more and more dangerous situations that we are not equipped to deal with. Something like 6-8 holes are not safe to play.

Otherwise, your slot will be held until the makeup date, which is tentatively September 30th and October 1st.

I'll be playing a practice round tomorrow (first time playing the course) if anyone would like to join... probably shooting to get there around 2-4 pm depending on how the morning goes. It's a 2 hour drive for me
