About this tournament
1 round of play
This is a classic Three-Disc Challenge Event. You will be given 3 discs for your player's pack, and you must complete your round using only these discs. It's a great format for beginners or players looking to try out some of the MV3 (MVP, Axiom, Streamline) plastic.
Some of the longer/more difficult holes will have a shorter tee position than the standard at Stonykill due to the limited disc selection. This tournament will not be counted towards your PDGA rating.
Prizes will be based on total attendance, and while there will be prizes based on performance in the tournament, there will be plenty of other prizes available via raffles, etc. Please register as soon as possible- players packs need to be ordered by May 20th, so if you aren't registered by then, we can't guarantee you a spot!
This tournament is being held to raise money for the Old Kinderhook Disc Golf Course in Valatie, NY.
For anyone who is not a PDGA member, the additional $10 fee goes to cover things like insurance and other costs associated with tournament sanctioning. It's only about $50 for a year, so if you're interested in playing tournaments, joining the PDGA may be worth it!
Additional divisions, including Pro/Open level, may be added. If you're interested in a division not currently available, please let me know. Additionally, if you are a Pro/Open level player, you may be eligible to play under an Amateur division depending on your rating. We want to accommodate as many people as possible!
