Stony Creek Metropark is expanding. We are going from 24 holes to a 27 hole layout. A dedication ceremony will take place on Saturday morning, May 19, 2012 beginning around 10 am. Once the short ceremony is over we will be hosting a random draw $5 doubles starting on hole 19 playing the new 9 holes first followed by a brief stop for Hot Dogs supplied by Stony Creek, Motor City Chain Gang, and 7 Star. After the brief food stop, we will continue on and play the next 18 starting with the new Hole 1.

We should have around 150 hot dogs to hand out to anyone willing to stop by and play the new course. We may need a volunteer to sit around and cook the dogs!

Jeff Bauman will be taking registration. This event kicking off the new expanded layout may turn into an annual tournament.
