Spring Fling Birch Park
About this tournament
Welcome to the Birch Park Spring Fling.
Bill and Norma Bruce of Breakin Chains Disc Golf are the TDs for this event.
We would like to welcome you to Amherst NH's Birch Park Disc Golf Course, home of the Birch Park Tag League. This is a PDGA B-Tier sanctioned Tournament. All disc golf players are welcome.
Birch Park is a great course with some challenging holes. The town of Amherst Parks and Rec. Dept. headed by Craig Fraley, are always working on the course and making new improvements.

There will be 2 rounds of 18 holes played by each player with a lunch break between rounds. Second round will begin 30 minutes after last card from 1st round comes in. We ask that when you arrive for the tournament that you come to the registration table and sign in. We will hold a quick players meeting at 8:30 to discuss any questions, concerns or changes at this time.
Player Packs: Will be handed out when you sign in at Tournament headquarters.
We will be using live scoring for this tournament which should help move things right along when it comes to adding up all the scores. Your code for live scoring will be given to you on the player meeting E-mail..
The course will be in long basket positions and OBs will be in effect. Ob will be discussed on the player meeting E-mail
All PDGA Rules will be enforced and it is the players responsibility to familiarize themselves with these rules. Any non-PDGA member will pay an additional $10 when registering. This $10 goes directly to the PDGA. Payouts will follow PDGA guidelines.
LUNCH: You will be on your own to provide yourself with some lunch. As I mentioned lunch will go until 30 minutes after the last card comes in.
Don't forget to sign up for the Ace Pot and the CTP options if you want to be able to qualify for them. It is the Policy of Breakin Chains Disc Golf that any ACE hit on a CTP hole is considered the ultimate CTP and the player will not only receive the ACE $$ for the hole, they will get the CTP prize also. There will be a playoff for the Ace Pot if it is not hit during the tournament. The Tournament Director will decide on rules for the playoff .
