Rum Village Disc Golf Course's 2018 kick-off event. In lead up to the 2018 Battle In the Bend.
PDGA Sanctioned B-tier amateur event, C-tier sanction for Open divisions.
Amateur players packs for all divisions including: a Chaingang shirt, mini and event disc.
We're even covering a smaller players pack for the pros!
Thanks to Innova and Zing Minis for hooking up the players packs.
Shout out to Disc Store for coming through with some awesome shirts for all ams.
We are making the player's pack shirts available at a discount for all MPO participants.
Discounted Womens' division entries
$5 Ace pot, $5 50/50 CTP
Playing two rounds of 21. 3 familiar temp holes each round. (7A, 9A, 19)
Lunch on-site between rounds. A huge thank you to Pete and Andy at The Pub in Granger, IN for hooking up lunch. Lunch is available for all, we ask for any donation to help cover our costs, but everybody eats regardless.
Friday night Player's pack pick-up/check-in at The Pub in Granger.
In order to facilitate the smoothest day possible, we are pooling and capping the divisions so that we can ensure the most optimum carding. Everyone will get to play the tough Rum-21 layout. All ams will play on cards of 4, however we will allow for cards of 5 in the MPO division only.
This is the last event before South Bend Venues and Parks Administration breaks ground on a much need course invigoration and minor redesign. This project is going to wonders for the quality of the course and park. Join us as we celebrate our favorite South Bend course in a style fitting of the 574 Chain Gang and South Side Disc Golf Club.
