I would prefer not to cancel so we can at least make a bit of money back and not take a total loss.

Because of the low registration numbers, we’re increasing the players pack to include TWO custom stamped discs! Spread the word!

Tournament info has been updated.

Is the MA40 grouping playing the MA1/FA1 layout as posted?

Corey McDonald   June 14, 2023 at 4:30pm

Yes, MA40 will play the same layouts as MA1/FA1. Thanks!

Is there any update on prizes, etc? I know some people contemplating signing up but with it not being sanctioned they want to know what's up for grabs when they pay $60 to play!

We will update prizes later tonight, and also as more sponsors roll in over the next week.

Just curious, maybe I missed it but wondering if this will be a Tee Time or Shotgun start?

We will be updating details soon, but the first day will be shotgun start to get two rounds in and the second day single round will be tee times. The idea behind tee times on the second day will be so people can watch the lead card finish after they are done their round.

Nice.

Just curious because it doesn't say it on the home page, but this will be a sanctioned event right?

Hi Clint, next year we plan to grow the event, sanction it and make it a staple of RDGA yearly programming, but this year the Spring Fling will remain unsanctioned. With this being a new event, we are working at getting new volunteers accustomed to running tournaments and also looking to entice newer players into playing their first 2-day event.
