All 24 baskets are playable. We just played a round at Forked Run. There's water on the path in between baskets 17 & 18, so you'll have to take the alternative route tomorrow unless the water recedes by then. Also on the left side of the fairway of 18, there's some water that will definitely come into play, especially from the long tee. One can find it from the short tee as well on an errant throw. My brother just did and retrieved his disc by taking off his shoes & socks to wade in it. It's expected to be in low to mid 60's tomorrow, great weather for disc golfing!

i just sent scott a text to double check for you and to answer u himself. sounds like u r good to go. i also just posted on facebook our weather update. we had winds today but sun since noon all the way. forecast of showers this evening of abt 1/10" rain then clear for fri and sat. temp abt 65 fri and 75 sat so it is looking great. there may be one hole we have to skip. i am on facebook as dave buck as u prob have it. john is home for the event.

i am an almost local living in vienna/parkersburg area. have not been to the course this week but just got message from scott vanmeter that #18 [2nd pin off the dam] and #19 are partially under water as is the blue tee for #20. it looks like a lot of rain missed us and only small showers thru tomorrow morning so hopefully most of that water will recede. regardless we can play 1 or 2 baskets short or even 3 if needed since it is a smaller event so come on down one and all. clear and about 62 for friday and clear and about 70 for saturday which is perfect!

Wholehearted agree with the Official (real money) Registration. If people are serious about attending an event, take the time and effort to send in your info and money. Doesn't matter if you're playing rec, int, adv, open. It is a professionally sanctioned tournament, let's be a little professional about it. TDs are looking for confirmed registrations so they can set up the scoreboard, figure out groupings, make out scorecards, BEFORE TOURNAMENT DAY. The organizers have already spent hours of their "free time" and money sanctioning the event, printing all the cards and flyers, and posting the information so we can know about the tourney. Anything that can get done in the days prior to the tournament makes everything run smoother and easier.
The Cashless Registration that has recently developed is a friendly way to do things for non-sanctioned tournaments.

Forked Run......don't like it....LOVE IT!!!!!
