Hello Easter Disc Hunters,

We have a fun weekend ahead with many activities, besides frolf, in the great outdoors. Welcome back to the OTB Boutique series of events. Since Covid protocols are still in effect, we will have online PDGA scoring, virtual payouts and encourage social distanced behavior coupled with mask wearing. Payouts will be a bit lower due to a rise in costs associated with the course and cost of goods.

Payouts will be a bit lower due to a rise in costs associated with the course and cost of goods.

Tee times are posted at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/50690. We were even able to have the first tee time a little later at 8 am!

We will have paper backup scorecard for each group with rules printed on the back. There are new tee signs and all OB, drop zones,mandos have been freshly flagged, strung and painted. The course is freshly mowed and in the best condition of the year.

The ranch has quite a schedule of activities all weekend for the whole family. The outside bar will be open serving food and drink specials both days. There will also be the usual drink station on the course. We are starting to inch back to a semblance of Windjammer tournament normal with these outdoor activities:

Saturday

Noon - Penetrators Groove Band
6:00 pm - Easter Bingo

Sunday

10 am - easter egg hunt (for the kids!!)
Noon - DJ
6:00 pm - Karaoke

Just a heads up for anybody who may not have been out to the course recently. They’re doing work on MacArthur Drive and there is a detour you’ll have to take that adds about 5 minutes to your travel. It’s not showing on google maps, so be prepared.

Talked with the people running the course about camping. Its basically parking out in the lot overnight. No need to make a reservation in advance.

Not sure what decisions were made when scheduling this or if it's possible to reschedule, however I find it odd that this event was scheduled not only on Easter, but also on a weekend where there's another sanctioned tournament not too far away being played with the Bomber Blast. There's an open weekend on the 17th and 18th that I feel like this event would fit perfectly for and I'm sure that it would fill up much quicker and have a great turn out if it were able to be on that weekend. Just my thoughts.
