There were a record 29 aces made, and the average score was the highest in SpAce Race history!
The "Top Tournament Team" for round #2 was comprised of Jaycen Ness, Teyo Tyree, Shawn Schenk, Keisha Williams, and Fletcher White. They all shot very well, and their top 3 scores added up to fantastic 43 points.
The 2nd place team with 39 points consisted of Rich Jacoby, Jason Hardin, Jake Hardin, and Jeremy Hardin.
A lot of new SpAce Racers did very well, as did many of the seasoned SpAce Race veterans.
A couple of the many highlights:
Craig Robinson acing #2 and then knocking off the muffin bucket with his next shot!
I was standing on the #4/#18 tee pad watching the action for awhile and saw Junior Canady knock off the muffin bucket on hole #4. Not even 10 seconds later Greg Prior knocked off the muffin bucket on hole #18! Nice shootin', gentlemen! I've got a pic. of the two to post...

I don't see too many Peeps worried about the extra $2 for the Event(s) with so many ways to win cash and/or prizes, Commander. The first SpAce Race was filled and the pay-outs were plenty. Keep up the great....wheeew... I just farted in my spacesuit....keep up the great work, Commander!! I need a SpAce Walk....

The buy in price was originally listed as 20$, but now it's 22$. I felt the bump was necessary to cover the additional prizes for the Area 51 points, as well as the fact that the series prize pool amount per buy in is a little bit higher this year, at 1$. So here's the breakdown of where the 22$ goes: 12$ scrip payout prizes (will go very deep, more than 50% of players possibly), 1$ double ace pot, 1$ series prize pool, 8$ ... more

Important Updates for SpAce Race Round 2: SpAce Station

The buy in price was originally listed as 20$, but now it's 22$. I felt the bump was necessary to cover the additional prizes for the Area 51 points, as well as the fact that the series prize pool amount per buy in is a little bit higher this year, at 1$. So here's the breakdown of where the 22$ goes: 12$ scrip payout prizes (will go very deep, more than 50% of players possibly), 1$ double ace pot, 1$ series prize pool, 8$ cash payouts (cost of prizes won from hitting muffin buckets and SpAce Race disc aces deducted from this amount).

If round 2 is the first SpAce Race you're attending this year, you can purchase a series score card for 2$, as well as SpAce Race custom stamped discs. Aces made with a SpAce Race disc win you another disc automatically.

There will be a modification to the raffle prizes awarded after the tournament. Prizes will first go to the clear winners of the Constellation, SpAce Invader and Area 51 point categories. Additionally, the person with the second highest number of Area 51 points will pick a prize. After that, additional prizes for each of the categories will be selected via the raffle.

The "SpAce Station" element of the round works like this: during the player meeting, two numbers will be selected at random representing 2 of the 18 holes on the course. For those two holes, any metal or bucket hits wins you a drink and muffin (as if you'd hit a muffin bucket, but still only circle the 2 points if you knocked the bucket off), and any ace, regardless of the disc, wins you a SpAce Race disc! Souped up Super SpAce Station holes!
