Wanted to see if anyone picked up a Discn Disciples Resin Mini today out at Barnett Park Parkside - My son unfortunately left it out there during his round

Hi Ross, Micah & his grandpa, are awesome. Love seeing them out there. Hope he gets it back!

Regina armaly    September 1 at 11:59pm

Really loved the UV umbrella today from players pack! Thanks ODGC!

Wait so by “long” basket on T2, is that the red or old baskets? Seems they switch hole to hole.

Brennan Loynd   August 31 at 12:43am

Only the veteran baskets will be in play this weekend. (Red baskets)

Uncle Fester   August 31 at 2:22am

Thank you sir!

Uncle Fester    August 30 at 2:14pm

T2 for MA40 says we are playing longs, but doesn’t mention baskets. I didn’t see that on the email, could you please confirm?

Uncle Fester   August 30 at 2:15pm

Oh, I just found it in the picture section here it says long baskets. I didn’t see that in the email.

Patrick Stevens    August 30 at 11:34am

Hey TD/ATD, just clarifying. The no payout besides trophies and MA1/FA1 prize means no disc vouchers for the top 40% of the division?

Brennan Loynd   August 31 at 12:44am

That is correct, no voucher payout for top % of division.

Patrick Stevens   August 31 at 9:46am

Got it, thank you!

Adrian Valcarce    August 30 at 12:39am

Did anyone else not have an attachment included in the email?

Oh, I did not receive that second email.

Adrian Valcarce   August 30 at 2:00am

Never mind, I found it in a junk e-mail folder. If anyone is having the same issues, please check all of your email folders.

Michael Griffith   August 30 at 9:52pm

Thanks Adrian!

Does anyone know when the Players guide will be sent out? I heard mid week but still haven’t seen anything. Thanks in advance!

Is this a collared shirt event ?

Uncle Fester   August 28 at 6:42pm

The rules don't require A tiers to wear collars. Relative links: "The PDGA recommends that the dress code in 4.04 be enforced at A-Tier and lower Tier events, but that decision lies solely with the Tournament Director." https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/304 and https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/404

Sara Falk   August 28 at 7:58pm

I’ve always been told that it’s a good idea to wear a collared shirt if you’re lead card final day. But most TDs don’t enforce any type of dress code for AMs.

Mark Janssen   August 28 at 10:01pm

We have historically preferred and asked for collars (or dri fit equivalent) for this event. In the past we even supplied a collared shirt in the package. This year there is no shirt, but would certainly encourage everyone to look the part for an a-tier.

I know the registration closed this morning but I saw there was some open spots left just hoping I can register a little late? Ma 1?

+1 to this post as well

Benjamin Edwards    August 26 at 4:13pm

Looking for additional clarification / confirmation. Not from Orlando. I am in Pool B and understand that the short tees are either red or white depending on the course. On Bill F. - T2 long baskets = B. For Bill F. - Org and Barnett - Parkside will we be throwing to the A baskets? Thanks.

Brennan Loynd   August 26 at 6:12pm

Course maps will be sent out later this week with basket locations. You can go on Udisc and all of the maps are up to date, all courses other than T2 will play a mix of A and B basket positions.

Benjamin Edwards   August 26 at 8:52pm

Thank you Brennan. I will use U-disc for now.

Benjamin Edwards   August 30 at 3:40pm

FYI - What is on U-disc for Bill F. T-2 red tee to long baskets does not match what was sent out in the tournament email attachments. For example, hole #8 on the course map distances shows 195 ft and U-disk has 122 ft. Will the disctances on the PDGA scoring app be accurate?

Matt Byrd    August 26 at 1:39pm

Coming in from out of town (Jax area), playing blind, and just wanting a local perspective on if both courses are cart friendly.

Thank you. I appreciate it. It drastically changes what I bring along.

Uncle Fester   August 26 at 2:48pm

As long as BFP mowed finally...was over a foot tall not long ago. Couldn't find your disc in that Amazon of a fairway! LOL! Matt, hope you talked to them about this.

Mark Janssen   August 26 at 4:58pm

They are supposed to be mosing Tuesday and Wed

Carlos Rodriguez    August 24 at 1:42am

Hi, I'm curious to know what time the first cards are starting. Would it be 9 a.m. sharp?

Carlos Rodriguez   August 24 at 1:43am

On Saturday at BFP to be specific.

Brennan Loynd   August 26 at 12:44pm

The first tee time will be at 9:00am. We will have tee times posted for all players by Thursday evening.

Chris Carty    August 21 at 2:55pm

Can someone help with Pool C MA2. I have looked at all documents but being that I haven’t played at these courses yet it’s a bit confusing. Take Bill Frederick Original. It says we play short does that mean that there are two pads or two baskets. And we always play short to short on all courses or does it mean something else. Are all courses for pool C short to short? Thank you for your help!

Matthew Fife   August 21 at 3:35pm

All courses have a long and short tee pad. MA2 will play the short pad on all courses. BFP original is a little different in that several holes only have 1 tee pad. T2 is the only course with 2 sets of baskets but MA2 doesn't play that course.

Brennan Loynd   August 22 at 12:45pm

Thanks Matt! Chris the above information is accurate.

William Kagel    August 20 at 3:37pm

Is there any chance of opening up one more MA2 spot? Much appreciated if possible!

Brennan Loynd   August 21 at 12:12pm

You are in!

Benjamin Edwards    August 18 at 2:03pm

Will the course assignments change if the registration does not fill up? It has been 10 years since I have played in Orlando so it will be important for me to be able to focus on the courses the MA60 will be playing.

Brennan Loynd   August 19 at 3:00pm

The pools will remain as they are posted in the picture section. We will still utilize all 4 courses each day, we will just have fewer afternoon tee times.

Benjamin Edwards   August 20 at 8:27pm

Thanks Brennan. Look forward to competing.

Bryce Von Stetina    August 15 at 5:19pm

Would it be possible for Zachary Tolis and I to get early tee times Saturday? We are riding together and have somewhere to be Saturday afternoon. Doesn’t have to be the earliest but before 11:30am would be preferred Thanks.

Bryce, I will make a not that you and Zachary are looking for early tee times Saturday. MA40 will be the first group/groups off in the morning followed by MA1.

Bryce Von Stetina   August 16 at 3:17pm

Perfect, thank you so much

Uncle Fester   August 18 at 10:13pm

Oh well there are different pools...forgot that minor detail. LOL! And for a ten'er Brennan would put you first probably. I'll sell my tee time for $7 though. LOL! Kidding.

Benjamin Edwards    August 12 at 10:56pm

Are there any hotel discounts available?

Matt Byrd   August 13 at 1:01am

I use mine through the PDGA at Red Roof inns. 20% is 20%.

Brennan Loynd    August 9 at 12:16am

**As of August 8th all pin positions are set for the SAC** Bill Frederick T2 all divisions play to Veteran/Long Baskets.

Gregg Vernikos    August 6 at 5:04am

Hello, I was unaware this was not shotgun start until after entering, though I do not wish to withdraw. I have a prior commitment Saturday afternoon and am hoping for an early tee time. Would it be possible to have an early tee time or are they selected at random?

Brennan Loynd   August 6 at 3:11pm

For Saturday only I can get you on an earlier tee time if it is needed. After Saturday all tee times will be based on score.

Gregg Vernikos   August 6 at 4:24pm

That works great, thank you!
