Tee improvements are under way but not complete. Specialty lumber is impossible to get currently. Full tee installation is dependent upon that and will hopefully get to happen over the winter. The extant course at RR is now called the Wing Course. The Talon Course will be on the back 9 of the old golf course and is under development with mid-September targeted for opening.

Social distancing is in effect as the new norm- please keep 6 feet distant from others, do not touch others equipment and remove your disc from the target prior to others putting. Masks are appreciated when inside the building. Your attention to these simple asks as players is what allows disc golf events to continue under the pandemic.

It is going to be hot and humid. While there will be water on the course it is meant to supplement your own and not be a be all end all. Hydrate in advance.

Tee times are up on the PDGA page for the event. Please check in no less than 15 minutes prior to your tee time. Check in will be on the deck at the back of the clubhouse. You may warm up on the driving range, the Par 2 course, or on holes on the course if no one is currently playing them.

We will be using PDGA live scoring for the event. To keep score simply sign into pdga.com/scores with the code “bombs”. Please be sure to confirm scores at the end of the round for all players- once that is done you are free to go. Paper scorecards will be available for backup use as needed.

Course address is 1944 Shenandoah Crossing Drive Gordonsville. Do not let nav take you down Old CC Rd off of 33- the turn is on Forest Hill. The course is at the rear of a gated resort community- the gate will have your name when you arrive. PLEASE OBEY ALL POSTED SPEED LIMITS WITHIN THE RESORT/COMMUNITY.

For this event there are 3 pools as follows:
A Pool- MPO, MP40, MA1- Gold Tees to Blue Baskets
B Pool- MA40, MA2- Blue Tees to Blue Baskets
C Pool- all others- White Tees to Blue Baskets exception being Red Baskets on 12 and 13

Course Ground Rules (All distances and ground rules will be available in the Live Scoring App):
Bunkers play as hazards (play as it lies with penalty)

Natural Areas (designated by white PVC stakes) play as Relief Areas (play as if it were OB with no penalty) from the White and Blue Tees. Natural Areas play as OB from the Gold Tees. In general the ends of Natural Area staking will have arrows painted on the ground to indicate extension of line beyond that point.

Red Topped Stakes (Hole 2) are OB from all tees.

Backyard to left of cart path on Hole 1 is OB as designated by stake and flags.

Right of cart path is OB on Hole 8 as marked by flags.

Left of cart path is OB on Hole 16 as marked by flags. less
