About this tournament
One round C Tier with Tee Times. Everything that can possibly be done online will be done online. Social distancing in full effect.
True amateur event. Trophy only. $10 greens fee included in entry.
As we are still in the throes of a pandemic social distancing will be of the utmost importance. Please allow 10 feet between you and your cardmates at all times. Do not touch one another’s equipment. Clear all discs from the basket prior to anyone else putting. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE ON SITE MORE THAN 45 MINUTES IN ADVANCE OF YOUR TEE TIME. Please leave within 30 minutes of completing your round. Do not congregate in the parking lot. IF YOU ARE SICK STAY HOME!!
Course address is 1944 Shenandoah Crossing Drive Gordonsville, VA. Do not turn on Old CC Rd regardless of what nav tries to tell you. The turn is on Forest Hill. Raptor’s Roost is at the back of a gated resort community. Security will have your name at the gate on arrival. Once you pass the gate proceed to the stop sign where you turn left. You will proceed through first the resort then the community to the course on the right. It is a long ways from the gate to the course. PLEASE DRIVE CONSERVATIVELY INSIDE THE GATES- allow extra time, there will be kids playing in the resort.
Please check in no less than 15 minutes prior to your tee time. Check in will be on the deck of the clubhouse. Players may warm up on the Par 2 course (to the right of the clubhouse from the front) or Driving Range. Please practice sensible social distancing there as well. Be extra considerate of others when using the driving range.
Pro payouts will be via paypal and trophies will be distributed by mail or meet up after the fact.
We will be using PDGA Live Scoring for the event. Paper scorecards will also be available if no one in a group wishes to keep score electronically. To keep score log in at https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/ using the code- roost.
Forecast for Thursday is slightly cooler than recent days but it will still be summer in Virginia. Be hydrated before you arrive. While we will have carts eventually the course is a long walk. There will be bottled water on the course but it will likely not be cold. Please touch only what you are taking for yourself.
Layout for the event is White Tees to Blue Baskets with the following exception:
MA3, MA4, JR15, FA2 and FA3 will play to the Red basket on both Holes 12 and 13

Refund policy
Thrown Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. No refunds will be issued after 11:59 PM Wednesday night. Refunds requested on Wednesday will not be processed until Friday.
