Social C's 2021 #12- Holiday Huck

One round of 27 holes- Little Wing and the Orange Par 2 Course. Tee Times. $10 greens fee included in all entries. Amateur divisions are trophy only. Ace Pool applies to Little Wing holes only. Divisions with fewer than 3 players registered will be folded into another division at close of registration- ladies and juniors excepted.

Thanks for registering for Social C’s #12 for 2021. We will be continuing to hold these events in 2022 but the name will become Thrown Thursdays.

Tee times are posted on the PDGA event page. There were a ton of special requests and I have done my best to honor them. If your tee time is problematic please let me know ASAP and I will see if there is anything I can do about it. (This should reflect a real problem such as work, etc- not that you don’t want to play with so and so.)

Course address is 1944 Shenandoah Crossing Drive Gordonsville, VA. DO NOT LET NAV TAKE YOU DOWN OLD CC RD OFF OF 33- THE TURN IS ON FOREST HILL!! Please allow yourself plenty of time to get through the gate into the complex and please obey posted speed limits in the resort and the neighborhood.

Check in will be on the deck of the Pro Shop unless it is raining in which case it will be inside. Please check in 15 minutes minimum prior to your assigned tee time. If you are having issues the best way to contact me is text to 540-661-6685.

We will use PDGA live scoring for the event. Players keeping score can log in at pdga.com/scores using the code “fun”.

Everyone will be playing a 27 hole layout consisting of Little Wing and the Orange Par 2 course in the woods. Little Wing is an overlay on a few holes of the larger Wing course and map is available on UDIsc. There are directional arrows painted on the ground to help with navigation. In addition there is a piece of flagging on each LW basket in the direction of the next hole. LW tees are marked with yellow flags (which also have the color basket you are playing to written on them) and red numbered blocks.

Relief areas (marked with red stakes) are not in use- play as you normally would.

While I had hoped that we would be free of this by now I must caution everyone to behave sensibly as Covid is seemingly everywhere once again.
