The 2024 Smokin Aces Tour is officially underway!

There are a few things that I want to go over with you briefly here before tomorrow, I know its lengthy but, please read this email in its entirety.

The groups have been published to the PDGA page and can be found here: (you can sort by hole by clicking on the starting hole column)

This shows you your starting hole and starting course as well as the projected payouts for all divisions.

Starting Course by Division for round 1
JB – POOL A - MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1, and MA40 (onsite TD is Cris Zurawski: cell 636-634-1376 email [email redacted] )
Willmore – POOL B – FA1, MA50, MA55, MA60, MA2, MA3, and MA4 (onsite TD is Bernie Hertweck: cell 314-220-2402 email [email redacted] )

Please keep pace of play in mind during your round. This includes looking for lost discs. They will be returned to tournament central if found or you can look after the round.

Please go to your starting course in the morning to check in. Check-in is between 7:30am – 8:30am. AMs can pick up their 2023 tour stamped Trilogy disc at this time. There are some sick Trilogy molds so come early if you want first pick!

Tournament central will be at Willmore at the shelter by hole 4. We will have our mobile inventory on hand and this is where we will do payouts and the raffle.

We will also have the raffle items on display at Willmore all day and this is where you will buy raffle tickets. We will do the drawing after we do payouts after round 2. If you pre-purchased raffle tickets with registration they are already in the pot. We are calling names so you won’t have a ticket to hold on to. ( Tickets are 1-$2. 6-$10, or 13-$20 )
We have these sweet items below donated from Gateway, A Dynamic Recruit basket valued at $300, A Grip Bag, and some other sweet prizes! Raffle is to raise funds for event fees for the year so we can maintain high payouts to the players!


We will be utilizing live scoring for this event. So please have your phone fully charged when you arrive, maybe even bring a battery pack as a backup. The code is SCS.
REMINDER: EVERY PLAYER HAS TO KEEP A SCORECARD THIS YEAR!

If you bought into the ACE POOL, it is currently at $97
50/50 is JB hole 6 (BOTH ROUNDS) This is the only flag that stays out both rounds
The 50/50 cash CTP is currently at $156 so the winner would get $78. Both the ace pool and 50/50 can be added before round 1 if you haven’t purchased them yet and are paid out to the email you registered with on discgolfscene via PayPal.

We are also playing for 2024 Smokin Aces Bag Tags tomorrow if you bought one. If not and you are still interested you can purchase one before the round for $10, see a TD. Who will win the #1 Tag?? Shout out to Local Line Apparel for making these for us this year, they turned out great! We will hand these out with payouts.

After round 1 we will have a 1-hour break after last card finishes to switch courses. No food is provided but there are plenty of places in the area. We will post your starting holes on the PDGA site so you can always check there to know where you are going. We will also send out an email with this info as well so be watching for that.

**If there are any ties for first place the Sudden Death playoff will start on hole 1, 2, 3, etc. (with a random teeing order which will rotate each hole thereafter) until a winner is crowned. (No aggregate playoff due to time restrictions)
