Smash, Putt, and Flick

This is a Disc Golf Clinic like few others. You will be taught by 3 world class Disc Golf Pro Tour athletes who have worked to perfect their game on the very courses you frequently play in the twin cities and have successfully translated that game to the tour.

Clinic Details:
There will be 1.5 hours of instruction followed by a 30 minute Q+A section. You will spend 30 minutes with each pro working on different topics.

- Cal Lonnquist will be teaching backhand distance and form to help you perfect your backhand swing and add distance.
Cal finished 2024 with 4 top 20 finishes on the DGPT and was 19th in fairways hit across the season.

- Joey Temali will teach you forehand technique as well as how to maintain control of the disc at shorter range.
Joey has taught clinics and built courses all around the world and is heralded by players as an fantastic forehand and touch player. He leans often on his neutral midrange and putter forehands showing off his incredible touch while parking upshots on the course.

- Eli Swansen will be instructing you on putting as well as how to conquer the mental side of the sport.
Eli was 8th in C1X putting percentage on the European Tour in 2024 making 87.5% of his C1X putts across 31 rounds of disc golf.

What to Bring (if possible nothing is really required to learn):
- Disc Golf Bag (you can narrow it down to a few discs of each type (distance driver, midrange, etc.)
- 2 putters
- appropriate clothing (gloves are highly recommended as keeping your hands warm is key to how you are able to throw the disc and allows us to get a better understanding of your game and how to improve it)


*The location has been determined although the information on that will be provided via email the night before the event. There will be ample space for the clinic and parking, but we will be outside so dress appropriately. If you are curious about the range see the photos tab of this event for a photo of the approximate location. In order to sign up you must feel as though you can appropriately travel to any spot shown on the map. There will not be refunds based on travel issues.

The location will be emailed to you all on Friday afternoon, but you should only sign up if you are able to attend at any location within the area shown on the map (look under the pictures tab).
