About this tournament
Hey Dudes!
Time for the third annual Slowdown Showdown!
Get ready to shake the dust off from winter with the best way to hone your skills, an all-putter round.
We will be throwing Woodsboro red-to-white. Our sponsors this year are Central PA disc golf, Liquid Death Sparkling Water, and Attaboy Beer. Fredrock and Barn Burners Ace pot COMBINED and 4 CTPs!
Drinks and Donuts provided!
The 2024 player's pack will be a decal and a tournament stamped MVP Watt. (tournament Watt may be used in addition to 2 discs you bring)
The Watt is a glidey and very shapeable putter, with flight ratings of 2 / 5 / -.5 / .5. It's good for throwing and putting. Off the tee it excels at far-flying hyzer flips, long, slow anyzers, and forced turnovers.
- This is a 3-disc, putters only tournament
- Everyone will receive a tournament-stamped MVP Watt
- Each player may bring any 2 PDGA-approved putters of your choosing to play with as well, but they MUST be a speed 3.0 or below (no harps, zones, tactics, pigs, etc.)
- You will be able to play with these 2 putters AND the tournament stamped MVP Watt in the player's pack, for a total of 3 discs.
- There will be 4 closest-to-the-pin (CTP) contests on 4 holes (holes to be decided.)
- There will be 2 ace pots in play. If you pay the $2 to buy in to the ace pots, $1 will go to each club, and you are eligible to win both the Barn Burners and Fredrock ace pots with a single ace. Each ace pot pays out 50%.
