Hi Everyone!!!
Rook Disc Golf presents Slow Poke Doubles at Renske! This is an amazing event I have been doing in New Hampshire for the last couple years, but since moving to Charlotte this summer, it's time we started hosting the Slow Poke events here.
Slow Poke Doubles is a 2 round, best shot doubles tournament, but you can only use Putters!!! All discs for the event must be 3-speed or less. No midrange, fairway or distance drivers allowed! 3-speed also eliminates Zones, Harps, Rats, Prodigy A-series, and more. If you have a question on if a disc is allowed for the tournament, please just ask!
We did have Innova create some Custom Discs for the event which will be available for purchase at the event! It has our awesome Slow Poke Sloth Logo and they stamped a lot of different discs (Aviar3, AviarX3, Invader, Birdie, Polecat, Rhyno, Animal). We will also have a special Ace Pot bounty for anyone that aces with a Slow Poke Sloth disc!!!
There are 3 Divisions - Pro, Am and Mixed. Pro cost will be $50/Team and Am/Mixed will be $35/Team. This is a cash prize tournament! We will be paying out Top 1/3 of each division!
The first event this year will be at Renske DGC - a perfect putter only course! The event will take place on Saturday January 21st. 2 round Shotgun start - we will aim to start the first round at 9am. We will have a short break in between rounds.
The is an optional $5/pp Ace Pot for the event. The Sloth Bounty Ace is free for anyone who purchases a disc at the event. If no aces are hit, the ace pot will roll over to the next Slow Poke Doubles event.
There will also be an optional $3/pp Cash CTP's. There will be 3 different Cash CTP Holes for the tournament. We will also have some sweet plastic for CTP Prizes as well!
