About this tournament
Slip Lock Disc Golf unfortunately lost our little mascot JoJo a few weeks ago. There's no better way to remember her than to hold a benefit disc golf tournament. We will be hosting a one round bring your own partner doubles tournament at northeast creek park on September 30 to benefit the Carolina Boxer Rescue.
It is not required but highly encouraged that every person brings a bag of dog food to donate. We will take a portion of each buy in to donate as well. We are also gladly accepting any items to raffle off right after payouts are complete. Everyone is welcome to bring your doggos to the tournament as long as they are on a leash and friendly with others dogs.
Two divisions- Pro and amateur.
$30 a team to enter that will be paid day of, cash preferred.
$10 a team towards carolina boxer rescue.
$20 a team to payouts.
$300 ace pot in play at no extra charge!
Day of sign ups, payments, and check in from 2:15 to 3:15 pm, tee at 3:30 pm

The Honest Kitchen - powdered food you mix with water to rehydrate
Freeze-dried food toppers
4Health (dry kibble)
Taste of the Wild (dry kibble)
Purina Pro Plan (dry kibble)
Olewo Carrots - purchased on Amazon but works wonders for some of our foster's sensitive tummies

OUR MISSION: To balance the health, safety, and welfare needs of Boxers in the Carolinas, Virginia (and parts of Georgia) by providing a loving and safe environment for stray, abused, impounded and owner surrendered dogs by placing them in foster homes and ultimately - forever homes.
CBR was founded in 2001 and has saved over 3,500 boxers from euthanasia to date. We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization and we are completely volunteer-run. Our biggest need at the moment is foster homes - the more foster homes we have, the more boxers we can save. Our motto is no nub left behind! We rescue all boxers regardless of age or medical/health condition - from healthy to hospice. Every boxer deserves unconditional love, a warm bed and a full belly.
