Skywood MVP Circuit Challenge

About this tournament
MVP Circuit Challenge is back for the Pocono Area, this time to Skywood Park. This will be one of the first events to happen at the newest course in the area.
Whether you are new to disc golf, an avid gyronaut who needs the newest molds and plastic by MVP, or a competitor out to prove you can beat anyone with any manufacturers plastic, this event is for you. This is to be a fun, casual event that you can play with friends and fellow disc golfers. With that being said, we can certainly allow card requests (during registration or day of).
Layout will be the standard layout. One round using the three discs provided and a second optional round to follow using the three discs plus any prize discs and watermelon discs bought.
We will have prizes and CTPs throughout both rounds! Divisions are similar to how monthlies are run at Skywood and Yetter (Pro, Amatuer, Rec, and Ladies).
The discs in this year’s Player’s Pack discs are as follows:
• Axiom Prism Neutron Trance, 8/5/-1/1.5. Overstable enough to handle torque, but still very throwable with some glide for all players. Think faster crave or straighter volt. The rim will be prism neutron (glitter/metal flake in rim).
• Streamline Ellipse Echo, 5/5/-0.5/1. This will be great disc glow rounds in addition to throwing as the echo is a great straight mid-range. The neutral echo is at its best carving tight fairways. Low power players will love the bit of fade and high power throwers will love the hyzer-flip dream.
• MVP Fission Watt, 2/5/-0.5/0.5. Watt is loved by many gyronauts for its straight shots. Whether you're in the circle or on the tee, this neutral putt and approach disc will take the angle you give it and glide on it. Fission plastic allows for great grip as well as increased GYRO!
One of the newest discs by Axiom is the pitch (1/7/-0.5/0). MVP is releasing the Axiom version of the glitch in the fun proton watermelon plastic for this event for the first time. Watermelon discs have been highly sought after items over the years. Pick one up when you register. We will also order some extra to be used as goodies or if anyone wants to buy one after thinking about it while supplies last.
