Silly Goose Disc Golf Presents: "Double Dragon" at Flower City Park

We are incredibly proud to announce that all players registered will receive a custom “Silly Goose Disc Golf” foil stamped Kevin Jones Distortion 400 series disc, from Prodigy!
Welcome to the Silly Goose Disc Golf Experience! All "Silly Goose" events are currently Fundraising unsanctioned events. This means that 75% of the "Double Dragon" Tournament registration funds will go to supporting the disc golf course expansion at Flower City Park. The rest of the funds will go toward prizes and building up of "Silly Goose Disc Golf" for future Tournaments. We hope to see more new, fresh, and amazing Disc Golf in the future in Palmyra Mo!
"Double Dragon" is a Doubles tournament themed after the old and awesome Nintendo game. (see pictures) This event consists of 2 rounds on Palmyra Black course. It is a great course with a wide variety of play. The landscape provides long wide fairways as well as super tight wooded technical shots. There are plenty of Ace run opportunities. It will be fun for everyone!
We will have to wait for the fall season for the Orange course. The mosquitoes are too much currently to play both courses.
There are 5 separate divisions (MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, and Junior). Each of those Divisions will receive prizes from Prodigy for 1st place!
(MA1) 1st place team will receive a "Silly Goose Trophy" as well.
If you are curious as to which one of those divisions your team will fit best in, here is a super quick and over simplified rundown:
- MA1 plays as Expert
- MA2 plays as Intermediate
- MA3 plays as Recreational
- MA4 plays as Beginner
- Junior (specifically for ages 13 and under)(must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
Silly Goose Registration HQ will be located in front of the park pool. There will be blue tents and a Silly Goose Sign so we should be easy to spot.
Parking will be marked and located close to the pool. We will be using the RV/Camper parking in the grass as well as the gravel area. (see pictures)
We will have a CTP (Closest to pin) competition during the first round, and also after the second round. The winner of each Division will receive a prize from Prodigy.
Make sure you are ready and have dusted those cobwebs off. Get out to the course sometime soon to hone in on those perfect shots. Enjoy all that Flower City Park has to offer!
"Silly Goose Disc Golf" will have a merch table set up where you can purchase hats, tournament shirts, and more!
