About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Springtime is the right time to play the world famous Three Links Disc Golf Course! We will play two rounds of the 21 hole layout in a PDGA sanctioned C tier tournament. Three Links is rugged, mountain golf, with tight lines on uneven terrain. All divisions will receive >100% of their entry fee in payout and players pack value!
Divisions
There will not be age protected divisions at the Sierra Spring Cup! At the 2021 High Sierra Cup, at Three Links the best scores were from the MA50 and MP40 divisions in the Amateur and Professional Divisions. Previous years we have seen the same thing. The shorter holes and technical lines reward the experienced golfer, and level out the playing field for us elderly players. Age ain’t nothing but a number at Three Links! Fewer divisions mean less costs and bigger and deeper payouts.
Along these lines, we are not including a MA3 Division. Three Links is an advanced level course, and not well suited for the Recreation Division. Further, scores in MA3 at the High Sierra Cup are in the same range as the scores in MA2.
Players Pack, Scrip and Pro Payout
Players Pack details are being worked out - return here for updates. Scrip will be provided by our friends at OTB discs. Pros will be paid out via PayPal.
Waitlist
Waitlists will be capped at 5 people per division. If divisions do not fill by April 7, spots will be redistributed. Players on the waitlist who do not get in or who withdraw will get a 100% refund (minus PayPal fees.
