About this tournament
Hello everyone, the Marion Disc Golf Club is excited to present you all with our first collaboration with the Shovel City Drinkery!
This will be a BYOP Doubles Event (2 Rounds) at Sawyer Ludwig Disc Golf Course, here in Marion, Ohio! The First Round will be "Best Shot" Doubles and the Second Round will be "Alternate Shot" Doubles.
Entry fee for each team is $100 ($50 per player).
A Division- This division will be paid out in cash.
B Division- This division will be paid out in discs.
Each Player Pack with consist of the following items:
Tournament Stamped T-Shirt (if registered by 7/10/2021)
MDGC Stamped Disc- Discraft ESP Nuke
Shovel City Drinkery Stamped Disc- ESP Zone
Special Voucher for Shovel City Drinkery (Must be 21 years or older.)
We will be having a CTP Frenzy at this event, with a buy in of $10.
The CTP Frenzy will go for BOTH ROUNDS!
Each CTP discs will be Tournament Stamped Discraft discs, various molds!
Mulligans
If a player purchases Mulligans ($10), they will have 10 Mulligans to use throughout the day. Only one Mulligan can be used per hole, per player!
Player/Team must take Mulligan shot!
*We will have a 50/50 drawing, Raffle Items (Some pretty awesome prizes), and the CTP Frenzy! There will be numerous opportunities to win something! :)
Schedule for the day of the Event
Player Check in- 7:30 a.m. (Shelter House by Holes 4 & 5)
Player Meeting- 9:15 a.m.
Tee Off (Round 1)- 9:30 a.m.
Lunch (Approximately one hour after the last group gets back from Round 1.)
We're currently sourcing a Food Truck to be at the Park for the Event!
Tee off (Round 2) 2:30 p.m.
Awards Ceremony/Payout- 5:30 p.m.
As we get closer to the Event, we'll begin to start releasing some of the prizes that will be up for grabs on the Marion Disc Golf Club Facebook Page! (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1623752141212146)
The Shovel City Drinkery is a Cocktail bar located in the historic Hughs & Cleary building, in downtown Marion, Ohio! They specialize in classic and original cocktails, in a low-key environment. You can enjoy craft/domestic beers, carefully curated wines, and charcuterie boards & cigars on the patio!
