We acknowledge we are on Treaty 6 Territory. Edmonton is a part of stolen land. We cannot advocate for one minority without advocating for all minorities. We wish to recognize the injustices, historical and present acts of violence against Indigenous people of this land.
She's Up First is the 2nd Annual Women's Disc Golf Tournament in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton, AB) in partnership with the Edmonton Disc Golf Association and sponsored by BR Disc Golf.
A space to explore competitive play and kick off the disc golf season with our great community of female and female identifying players.
A one day event, with two rounds. This year we are partnering with women all across Canada who are hosting the first annual CWE - Canadian Women's Event!
All divisions will play the RED TEES at Hermitage Park in Edmonton, with a few slight changes to be named in the caddy book.
Round 1: Cards will be mixed divisions - contact Kristin if there are any special requests or concerns around this and we'll make sure everyone is comfortable. Scores will still go against your division mates only of course.
Round 2: Cards will be made up by division.
Only the first 25 amateur registrants will receive the CWE 2023 player pack. Amateur division registrants registering after the first 25 am. spots will receive a player pack of equal value, it won't be CWE branded.
LUNCH this year will be an optional add on. Theos Greek Kouzina is offering two lunch bowl options which are available for purchase at time of registration. Lunch bowls will be served cold. You will have the option to order one for yourself or two for yourself and your caddy. Or you don't have to partake.
Lunch is only an option for registrants registering before April 30
OPTION 1: Chicken Soulvaki w/ tzatziki, pita, greek salad and potatoes. $20.00
OPTION 2: Spanakopita w/ tzatziki, hummus, pita and greek salad: $18.00

A little division help, this is just my opinion:
FA1is formerly called: Advanced.
FA40 is a competitive age protected division
FA2 is formerly called: Intermediate, for intermediate players!
FA3 is formerly called: Recreational, in my mind this would be for players of intermediate levels who aren't really in it for score, just want to have some fun.
FA4 is formerly called: Novice, this would be for those who consider themselves beginners.
