Josh, sounds great. Seymore is becoming one of my favorite courses, and I would love to see some competitive tournaments there. The "fun" tournaments are great too, but they aren't drawing players from the clubs that I usually play with. If you are working with the MDGO, random drawing the doubles, and using divisions (I assume AM1, AM2 and AM3) those are exactly the things I'd look for. You are smack in the middle of The Flint Town Flyerz and the Motor City Chain Gang clubs - you should easily be able to completely fill your tournaments!

Yes, Tom at American Disc did a real nice job at raising the money and support for the bridge; also the coordinating of its construction. With money raised through leagues and tourneys this year we hope to bring more back to Seymour and back to what it once was. We will get you a schedule as we've been working diligently on one for the MDGO. Also, wecd love to have more advanced/serious players at tourney and leagues. There are 3 divisions for all singles tourney and as for the doubles, generally they are random draw.
Thanks for your interest, Paul.

I was really impressed with the changes out at Seymore, the work that they did on the pond and the bridge over it is amazing. I'd like to help promote one or more of your (and/or Tom's) tournaments next year with a custom stamped DISC-OR-DIE disc, so please send me your tournament schedule for 2013 as soon as you have it.... [email redacted]. I'm hoping to make it to this tournament too...

Hey Miles, couple of questions. I know that you really aren't trying to draw more serious players... but more information might help get a few of us out there. Is the doubles round random draw, or pick your own partner? Only first place gets a prize, and no other spots? What will the prize be, i.e. a standard is a percentage of the buy-ins (something like 50% to first place, 50% donated to the park)?
