This will not conclude tournament. This is just the furthest DGS allows to schedule out for events. I will continue to take scores via email and phone and post updates in tournament results and Facebook.

About this tournament

Welcome to the Savannah Showdown Matchplay tournament!
This will be a singles double elimination Matchplay tournament that will be held over a span of 5 weeks between two courses. Since this is not a sanctioned event, it will allow the 2 player to hash their times out amongst each other. 2 cards playing together is recommended for mediation or an additional 3rd tagalong.
The two courses as of now will be Tom Triplett and Forest Hills(playing as a safari style, 10 hole par 35 layout).
Cash will be paid out to: Top 3 if division is 15 or less. Top 5 if 16-20 (4th and 5th get their entrace fee back, 1st gets 60% of rest of pot, 2nd 25% and 3rd 15%). Top 6 21+ (5th and 6th get their entrace fee back, 1st gets 55% of rest of pot, 2nd 20%, 3rd 15% 4th 10%).
Each division will have a 32 cap and an optional $5 Ace pot(if not hit in division, it will go to future tournament ace pots).
MPO($30), MA1($20) Playing Safari Hills(only in first two rounds) and TTP (first two rounds from blue's last rounds will be blacks)
MA2($20), MA3($20) Playing Safari Hills and TTP (first round from red's, next rounds will be blues final will be blacks)
MA4($20) Playing Safari Hills and TTP (first two rounds from reds last rounds will be blues)
The tournament bracket will be posted the evening of Sunday October 10th here and the SDGA facebook page. I will also post the Forest Hills Safari layout by the 26th to give people time to play it. Since this is a safari layout please be mindful of people playing the normal layout to not throw on to them.
Keep in mind this is my first event I am organizing so please feel free to ask any questions so I can provide needed information!
