Where: Iron Mountain City Park – Registration at practice/soccer fields – follow deer-enclosure fence to dead end at cul-de-sac.

When: Saturday, July 16th – registration (pick up your player pack) 10:00 to 10:30 – players meeting 10:30 to 10:45 – start at 11:00.

What: Disc golf tournament limited to 46 players. 2 rounds of 18 (blue tees) for all registered non-beginners. Beginners (those who are unable to throw over 100’) will play one round of 18, teeing off from flagged temporary tee locations. Non-beginner divisions: 16-years-old and younger (boys and girls play together in one division); 17-years-old and older men’s division; and 17-years-old and older women’s division.

Why: This tournament is a fundraiser to purchase playground equipment for Iron Mountain City Park. All proceeds will go to Friends of City Park, a non-profit 501-c-3 organization created to obtain grant money to enhance City Park; a grant obtained from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources—along with matching funds from Friends of City Park—paid for all of the major disc golf purchases.

Why—Part 2: Prizes consisting of discs, disc golf bags, hats, shirts, towels, gift certificates, etc. will be awarded based on overall performance, including CTP’s (closest-to-pin throw from tee location) on selected holes.

Cost—Age 16 and younger is $25; you will receive a $5 refund at onsite tournament registration if you pre-registered online at DiscGolfScene.com, since you paid $30 on this site.. 17 and older fee is $30.

Player Pack (included as part of your $25 or $30 fee): You choose your own custom player pack on this site. During registration on this site you will be asked to choose one DisCraft X-plastic disc and an additional DisCraft Z-plastic disc; you will also be asked to provide your preferred disc color and disc weight. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding pre-registration (Eric Willman 906-360-4843). In summary, your player pack will include 2 DisCraft discs (which YOU choose) and an additional DisCraft SuperColor mini disc. You will receive your player pack at tournament registration, on July 16th.
