About this tournament
The San Francisco Safari in the beautiful and legendary Golden Gate Park is back for another year of competition in the city of San Francisco. This event will feature tee times all three days, with different layouts each day. But every single player and volunteer will have a weekend of fun and camaraderie.
1849 - The discovery of gold in California brought a rush of would-be-fortune seekers to our hometown, in a roundabout way contributing to the very founding of our beloved Golden Gate Park.
2023 - In the spirit of fortune and fun seeking, the SFDGC is proud to present the best tournament in the west for some gold-level disc golf action. Come out and stake your claim! The SF Safari is open to locals and out-of-towners alike. Lace up your boots and pan for some birdies because this is going to be a far-out donkey ride. Get your prospectin' on, and go for the gold!

Registration is open to players who are not a current PDGA member. All players must be a PDGA member by 06/16/23 or they will be removed from the tournament.
Every division with fewer than 3 participants as of 06/16/23 will be consolidated into the most similar division.
Players may transfer their sponsorship or super-sponsorship to another play until 06/16/23; sponsorship and super-sponsorship is non-refundable.
In the event a division is full and you register for a super sponsorship we will add you to the respective division.
