John O   August 25, 2022 at 10:28pm

Last question, will you let me know when you've refunded my card? Thanks again.

Andrew Rothschild   August 26, 2022 at 3:58am

Submitted refund at 12:33 PM today.

Finn Sullivan    August 24, 2022 at 2:55pm

Is there a players meeting before or do we show up near our tee times?

Andrew Rothschild   August 25, 2022 at 5:14am

Please show up 20 mins before your tee time.

John Ferguson    August 21, 2022 at 2:20am

When will the tee times be decided & posted?

Andrew Rothschild   August 21, 2022 at 4:58am

Wednesday or Thursday.

John Ferguson   August 22, 2022 at 5:39pm

Thanks Andrew..

Any idea what tee order will look like? I am specifically interested in the possible MPO tee-off times on Friday?

Andrew Rothschild   August 5, 2022 at 3:57am

MPO will likely be later in the day on Friday, but no promises yet.

Andrew Rothschild    July 23, 2022 at 5:12am

I encourage all to sign up for the tournament, even if it puts you on the waitlist. Caps may change, people always drop out. The upside is you get into the tournament, the downside is you lose ~$4 in paypal fees.

I’m actually 59, but MA50 was full in a nanosecond! I snagged a spot in MA40, but will gladly swap it for an MA50 spot if one becomes available! Thanks!!

Hi Jake, if you can spare the extra dough temporarily, I recommend signing up for the MA50 waitlist. You'll be refunded for MA40 if you get into MA50, and be refunded for MA50 if you don't get in.

Jake Marble   July 23, 2022 at 5:52pm

Alright bro!!! I took ur advice & ALSO signed up for the MA50 waitlist. Being that ur the TD, I feel confident with the pending refund! Thanks!!

Jake Marble   July 23, 2022 at 5:57pm

FYI - I used a different credit card for payment, and it used my LEGAL name in the player field. So MA40 says Jake Marble, while MA50 shows Sean Marble!! BOTH are me!! But no one calls me Sean!!

Andrew Rothschild   July 23, 2022 at 3:06am

The waitlist was open 4 minutes after reg opened.

Alex Semfel   July 23, 2022 at 4:07am

Bummer - is there usually a delay between rego opening and waitlist opening? It looked like some people were able to register for waitlist with 1-2 minutes of registration opening, and I just couldn't work out how they did it until I checked again later and waitlist looked open.

Andrew Rothschild   July 23, 2022 at 5:11am

I had turned the waitlist off during the sponsor period to make sure we didn't go above the sponsor caps, but then goofed and forgot to turn it back on until 7:04. I also noticed that some people got onto the waitlist before then, my only guess is that since so many people finalized within moments of each other, literally at the same second, it put some on the waitlist.

Kirby Ralston    July 23, 2022 at 2:03am

MA50 already full? I registered within 2 minutes. Is there a waitlist?

Casey Jensen   July 23, 2022 at 2:04am

Am2 was less then 15 seconds

Andrew Rothschild   July 23, 2022 at 2:04am

Yes, waitlist is open

Tracy Ruggles   August 16, 2022 at 4:25pm

@kirby I was waitlisted when clicking finalize just 40 seconds after top of the hour

Chris Illes    July 23, 2022 at 1:54am

Just curious why so many ams have signed up before 7PM 7/22/22. I thought that was first chance. Far too many to all be hole sponsors aren't they? Maybe not.

Andrew Rothschild   July 23, 2022 at 2:05am

A large amount of those am spots were female and junior spots (prereg).

Chris Illes   July 25, 2022 at 4:02pm

I saw those too but there were a lot in other AM (male) divisions for instance 8 people in AM50 - before 7:00. As I said I was just curious.

Casey Jensen    July 12, 2022 at 2:24am

Do you have a set number of spots for each division? Wondering how many MA2 spots will be available.

Andrew Rothschild   July 12, 2022 at 2:37am

Hey Casey, those divisional caps will be set in the days leading up to open registration.

Wilson Linker    June 30, 2022 at 3:49pm

Where can I find info on the league winners getting spots in the Safari?

Andrew Rothschild   July 2, 2022 at 10:39pm

In the info of this here disc golf scene dot com page!

Tullin Valdez    June 27, 2022 at 6:43pm

Do last years sponsors get right of first refusal or is it a free for all the day of the sign ups? Thanks.

Andrew Rothschild   June 27, 2022 at 7:14pm

Right of first refusal is not permitted by the PDGA rules. The rule states that sponsorship must be made available to everyone at the same time.

Tullin Valdez   June 28, 2022 at 12:29am

Got it. All good. I’ll be there hoping for the best. Thanks man. Be well.

Andrew Rothschild   June 28, 2022 at 3:53pm
