The San Francisco Safari is back for another year of competition in Golden Gate Park. This event will feature tee times all three days, with three different layouts, culminating in a unique safari layout on Sunday. Pros will play for cash, Ams will play for scrip.

Players may register for the tournament without being PDGA-current, but will be removed from the registration list if they are not PDGA-current by 8/22/22.
Every division with fewer than 3 participants as of 8/22/22 will be consolidated into the most similar division.
This event utilizes multiple early tournament registration exceptions made available under section 1.02 of the PDGA rules:
Unlimited Permitted Exceptions
- Early registration based on PDGA ratings: Players rated 980 or above may register for the MPO division beginning on 7/18/22 at 7pm.
- Qualification based on PDGA-sanctioned events: The winners of MPO, MP40, and MA1 in the GGP Wednesday PDGA League will be offered an (unpaid) spot in the tournament in the division that they win. Should the winner already be registered, the spot will go to the next highest finisher. See more here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2001888429995550/
- Early registration based on specific divisions: All female and junior divisions will open for registration on 7/18/22 at 7pm.
Limited Permitted Exceptions
In total, may not take up more than 33% of total registration cap, no more than 33% of total pro/am registration cap, nor more than 50% of a total division
- Event sponsorship exception:
Sponsorship is available to those who wish to support the tournament financially. Sponsor funds go towards tournament costs + payouts. Please reach out if you have an idea for a non-monetary idea for sponsorship!
-- Super sponsors (registration + $390, 18 available) may register for any division beginning 7/11/22 at 7pm. Super Sponsorship includes a spot in the tournament + tee sign with custom text or optional logo + premium Safari clothing item + premium Safari disc.
-- Sponsors (registration + $190, 33 total available) may register for any division beginning 7/15/22 at 7pm. Sponsorship includes a spot in the tournament + tee sign with optional text + premium Safari clothing item + Safari disc
Sponsorship is non-refundable, but is transferable up until 8/12/22.
PLEASE NOTE: Caps may be put on certain divisions to ensure that amounts do not exceed limits set on limited permitted exceptions.

San Francisco Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. The last day to request a refund is 8/24 at 8pm.
