It was super fun to watch the first round play out and, again, thank you all so much for being part in this inagural event.
Round One results will be posted on New Years Eve so that both the AM and MIX teams can coordinate matches for next month, while the Pro Division matches will be determined later this month pending further entries.

FYI, as a result of the recent snow storm the tees should be cleared by noon and the dirt portion of the road past the gate is not yet plowed so teams planning to play today [early] are advised to bring an all wheel drive vehicle to get to the parking lot.

Hey Dennis, awesome seeing you today and spectating our match. Quick question though, how come we can't post the results and/or upcoming matches, etc. on the Winter Doubles Bracket Facebook page ? It would be an easy way for you to see what's going on and the results to update the bracket.

Unfortunately, DGS doesn't seem to allow me to post/save scores unless all of the fields/scores are filled, so I'm unable [or not yet skilled enough] to figure out how to show the results live month to month here [on DGS].

Baskets #12 & #13 will be swapped around sometime today [#8 will remain in the center/right] and registration is ready enough to get this tournament going. We're incredibly grateful for those of you that expressed enough interest to enter. This should be a blast and participating players can expect an email to be sent out around noon today regarding registration, rules, match ups, and other updates - so watch your inboxes.

Breathe easy, Will. The beauty of this event is that players will have more than enough time to set up their matches - all month.. And as stated in the Facebook response to this/your question, matchups were to be announced as soon as the logistics regarding registration are determined, which will be later today.

Hey Dennis, just to confirm. If you lose your first match in December you are eliminated correct?

Correct, Ian. This is a single round elimination. Teams can play their own miniseries to determine a winner but by the end of the month a single winner must be determined. And only the first round results/statistics will used logistically for tie breaking scenarios & added prizes.

So is this best shot doubles or best score doubles? It’s listed at the top of the description as “best shot doubles”

So the description reads as if me and my partner are both playing our own shots and taking the best score on each hole. Example: I take a 5 on hole one she takes a 4 so we write down her score.

Yes, Dan. A single player can register for more than one division [with implied discretions for PRO/AM].
