I would have signed up if it was a 1 day event but 1:45 (80 miles) is to far to drive 2 days in a row. Hope you all have fun, Good Luck!

I just play the two courses for the first time over the last couple days. They are very nice. Looking forward to my first tournament in six or seven years!

If you're looking for a great breakfast before the tourney the place to go is Breakfast At Tiffanys. It's only minutes from both courses and the food is fantastic! I'll be there at 7:00 on Sat. and 8:00 on Sun. and I welcome everyone to join me. It's a great way to show how disc golf brings dollars into a community.

**Tournament Update**

I am reluctant to announce that we will be going back to a Shotgun Start on Saturday July 15th. May it be over confidence, lack of registered players, or delusions of grandeur LOL.

Players are asked to Check In at the scheduled time. Tournament HQ will be at the Top of the Main Parking Lot. An EZup with the SVDGOpen Banner will be flying.

I do believe Staggered Tee Times would be a better concept with a larger field. I wanted to eliminate the long wait on lunches ... more

**Tournament Update**

I am reluctant to announce that we will be going back to a Shotgun Start on Saturday July 15th. May it be over confidence, lack of registered players, or delusions of grandeur LOL.

Players are asked to Check In at the scheduled time. Tournament HQ will be at the Top of the Main Parking Lot. An EZup with the SVDGOpen Banner will be flying.

I do believe Staggered Tee Times would be a better concept with a larger field. I wanted to eliminate the long wait on lunches and try and get players back out onto the field to be able to enjoy their second round while not getting "cold" during the wait.

Staggered Tee Times with the amount of players would only drag out the day longer for some. A shotgun start will allow for a quicker day with the amount of registrants as well as allow the opportunity to keep the registration open longer as well as allow Day Of registrations.

I want to thank you all that have signed up in hopes of the Staggered Tee Times and look forward to trying it maybe next year with a larger field. As a token of my appreciation I am opening up the $5 OFF per registration for the remainder of Registration for each player.

If you did not get a discount at Registration, you will be paid back $5 at Check In on Saturday.

Also due to low numbers, I am opening up for the first time, Cashless Pre Registration for all players as well as Day Of Registration.

This is still going to be an awesome event with a Free Lunch and a Sunday Long Distance Competition for all Divisions sponsored by Sheetz. Borderline Discs will also be sponsoring a Putting Competition before the awards ceremony.

The Zuca Cart just arrived and we will be raffling it off to one lucky player. Each player will receive 2 Tickets for the raffle in their players pack. Player Pack value is $45!!

I always look out for the player and again apologize to those that were looking forward to this innovative tournament style. I am also issuing refunds (minus paypal fees) to all players that are upset with the last minute change.

Players are asked to be at their Tee 10mins prior to Tee Time. (example: Tee Time 8am, be there at 7:50 to check in with marshal.)
If you have yet to pay for the event please arrive during check in at 7:00am to 7:45am or make arrangements prior to event to settle up.

I will be emailing out Player Guides after the Registration Deadline of July 9th. I will also have a Caddy Sheet for all players specifying Out of Bounds and Mandatory Signs day of the Event at each Tee Station (#1 and #10).

Deadline for pre registration is July 3rd.

Tee Times will be emailed and posted 1 week prior to the event. You must make your first round Tee Time or take Par +4 for every hole missed. There is NO shotgun start!

Second Round Tee Times will be 1:00(approximate) of when your division finishes.

Third round Tee Times will be posted here on Saturday Night as well as emailed. I also plan to send a group text for those of you that would request that.

Check In for all rounds will be at Hole #1 of both courses. You will either Tee on Hole #1 or Hole #10.
