About this tournament

SMore Valentine Doubles is our first event of the season, and is meant for you and your special somebody to enjoy an afternoon of disc golf with friends. Cards will consist of 2-3 couples. Groups will be assigned upon arrival, and if there are specific couples you’d like to be grouped with, please indicate that on your registration.

We know some of you are thinking "But I'm a terrible player, my wife is sooo much better than I am" and that's okay, we're doing Doubles, we know one of you will be carrying the other. But if you're looking for an afternoon of visiting, laughter, walking and just hanging out - this is the event for you!

SMore Valentine Doubles is an unsanctioned, just-for-fun event, for players of all skill levels. Come out and spend the afternoon with your favourite special somebody for a great Doubles round, on the beautiful Strathmore Disc Golf Course. After the round, join some friends for supper at one of Strathmore's many restaurants.

There is no cost to register online. No PDGA membership is required. Just bring some discs, dress for the weather, and be ready to enjoy the afternoon.

Starting at Hole 10
We will be starting on hole 10, and finishing on hole 9. When finished, there will be hot chocolate and snacks the back yard of 7 Cambria Pl, beside hole 10.

Prizes
Bring $5 per player to go towards goody bag and prizes.

Rounds
One round of 18 hole disc golf at the luxurious Strathmore Disc Golf Course

Doubles Format
Doubles is played like that other Golf's "Best Ball" Both team members Tee off, and then the team takes the "best" shot from there. Both players continue throwing from the best placement until the hole is complete.

Facilities
There are no "facilities" on the course at this time of year, so please ensure you take care of business before arriving.
