About this tournament

The Sunnymede SANTA SLAM is an annual non-sanctioned (BEST DISC) Doubles tournament.

Every year it grows bigger and we have to think what else could we be doing for the players and the community.
So, as always, this tournament is a food drive for the local Food Pantry...
AND, it's an ALL CASH tournament.

Meaning that:
100% cash pay outs to the top 40%



We want to make it very clear....
EXACT CASH ONLY!

Team fee is $50 or $25/player

Rich has scrapped greens fees for this tournament as a thank you to all of you who come out to play this event, he only asks that you bring 3 non perishable food items in place of greens fees.

(If you choose not to bring non-perishable food items, then it will be $5/player as donation to the local food pantry)

SCORING:
Since this is a non-sanctioned event, we cannot use PDGA live scoring, HOWEVER, we will be using UDisc.
Two players (one from each doubles team) shall take score via UDisc.
Once both teams have finished their rounds and have confirmed their scores, ONE team will send me a screenshot of their UDisc scorecard. (Or show me in person at tourney central).

ACE POT will be $5.

This is a TEAM acepot. IF one person on the team hits the ace, the acepot money goes to both players (unless those players choose that the person who hit the ace should take the whole pot.)

If more than one person hits an ace, the pot will be split between them.

If no one hits an ace, a CTP throw-off winner will take HALF the ace pot.

GREEN tees - GREEN baskets

Green Tee box for 15 is not (yet) constructed, but it’s a standstill shot anyway. Flags will be placed at the front of the tee box.

We will have bottled water in the barn on 17.

PARKING

Please carpool as necessary.
Parking will be in the main lot (about 30 cars) and overflow parking in Rich's driveway and side yard.

ROUND START RULES:


Once you arrive, please do not make a lot of noise in the parking lot and disturb the neighbors, please make your way to the barn for check-in
Do NOT show up prior to 8:30am.
Check-In between 8:30-8:50
You can practice putting on hole 10 between 8:30 & 8:45
Player meeting inside the the barn on 17 @8:50am.
*9am is the start of the first round.

If you are going to warm up throws, please DO NOT do so on Holes 1-4, 7, 17, and/or 18 prior to the start of the tournament.
We'd like to keep noise level down for the neighbors as much as possible.

$5 non-refundable deposit for your team.
This money will cover tournament costs.

Refund policy

DO NOT PAY $50 through DGS. If you do, you will be refunded minus any fees.

$50 cash due day of tournament.

Only way to sign up is to PayPal me $5 (per team) separately using friends and family.
This will guarantee your entry to the tournament.
