About this tournament
TO ALL TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS:
Please read and follow the following guidelines.
Summit DGA Health and Safety Plan for Events
1) First and foremost, convey to the entrants the importance of maintaining social distancing
and following “Best Practices”. Do this by way of a mass email and by placement on the
tournament website.
A. It is important that we follow the state’s social distancing guidelines.
B. Everyone should maintain six foot distance between themselves and others, and wear
masks whenever social distancing is not possible.
C. Entrants should not touch other peoples equipment
D. Players should account for and maintain their own food and water for the day
2) Avoid causing gatherings at most typical times, check in, break and award ceremonies.
A. Do all registration online
B. Run Tee Times rather than shotgun start. Tee times spread out the check in process over
a couple hours and also limits the amount of players available to gather at any time
during the day. Whereas Shotgun starts has everyone playing or not playing at the same
times and creates gathering.
C. Use electronic scoring as provided by the pdga rather than traditional sharing of paper
scorecard.
D. One player per foursome should be the official scorer, or if scoring is passed it should be
done so virtually.
E. Foursomes should be sent out by division and players shall play together both rounds.
This will limit exposure to other players.
F. Tee Times by division limits mass gatherings before and after the event.
G. Tee Times by Division ensures that at tournies conclusion, you’ll be able to do awards in
small groups as one division can be awarded before the next division finishes. This will
repeat until all players finish.
H. Professional’s shall be paid by way of electronic credit such as Paypal.
The Rubber City classic is the first tournament at to be held Silver Creek Metro Park! A one day C-Tier with two rounds of 18 holes. We will be using tee times in order to comply with current health and safety guidelines.
Tentative Layouts (Subject to change):

Team Mojo will be handling payouts and helping run the event so you know it will be an excellent experience for anyone who plays!
All AMs will get a players pack.
All payouts will be calculated above PDGA C-tier Standards
