Is it just one round of 18 in the morning or we playing 2 round’s back to back

It will be one round in the morning, one in the afternoon. There is a 1 hour break for lunch after the last card finishes between rounds.

You best bet is to get signed up and be ready to play. Last year I got in last minute from #8 on WL

You should be able to get in. I was #8 on WL last year and got in day of.
Tough to say. If a spot becomes available the next player on the waitlist gets an invite email. I'd guess 50/50 shot.
