About this tournament

Welcome to the second annual Rocky Mountain Conference Championship for College Disc Golf!!! This event is specifically for college disc golf teams, but locals will be able to register once we can assure room for conference players. Since this is the championship event of the season, the winner of this event is not necessarily the 2023-24 champion, but it is instead the team that accrues the most points over this and last semester. Points will be distributed as usual to teams who compete, and an extra ten points will be awarded to the first-place team and an extra 5 points will be awarded to the second and third place teams.

This event will consist of two rounds of disc golf. One singles round in the morning and one team round in the afternoon. The singles round will take all individual scores from your team and average them for a single score rounded to the nearest whole number (.5 and .75 round up, .25 rounds down). If a mixed team only has three players, their fourth score will be counted as the highest round in the field plus 2 strokes. The second round will consist of CDG team format for mixed and standard doubles for women.

This is the sixth and final conference event of the season before nationals. We hope to see as many schools here as possible to help encourage both competition and comradery as teams make their way to South Carolina in April! As usual, this event is for trophies only, and there will be no payouts except for extreme pride and friendship.

For locals, we have opened up 24 spots for doubles teams to register in the RPA division. Bring a partner, and we will randomly flip to make teams of four to play the college style of disc golf. You'll play the exact same format and layout as the college teams, which means you will have one round of single play and one round of college style teams. How this works will be explained in the email and questions will be answered at the players meeting. The winning team members will each receive a disc as a trophy. When you register your doubles team it will ask you for four players' names, so enter each player's name and info twice.

In addition to games, skill games at early check-in, and a players party Friday night, players will receive a discounted rate on CMU discs stamped with our team logo available for purchase Friday night and Saturday. Jawbreaker zones will be $10 and Z zones, ESP buzzzes, and Z buzzzes will be $15 while supplies last.

Thank you everyone for a great season of disc golf. Let 'em Fly.
