Great times today. Thanks to everyone that came out. Congrats to Jeremy Foor on his first pro victory! Thanks Original Gravity (OG) Brewing Co. for the growler/glass/beer donation. Thanks Rolling Hills. See you all October 17th for the opening of the Picnic Course and Union Strikes at Indy.

Eirik Kauserud August 28, 2010 at 5:16pm
right on. looking forward to a fun day @ rolling hills!
Eirik Kauserud August 28, 2010 at 4:02pm
Why would you WANT to play the shorts anywhere?
Eirik Kauserud August 28, 2010 at 12:49am
being a smaller tournament, am2 shorts-longs should not be a time issue. It's a test of all skills playing both sets, adds tons of challenge and fits the definition of the division.... you know between am3 and am1. I quietly and respectfully protest 2 rounds of shorts. .02

Only the first round counts for points, so you could DNF after round 1 to get the points. To be eligible for a payout though you have to finish the tournament.
Ben Calhoun August 27, 2010 at 9:53pm
Not saying I don't like it I will be there. Jw if I have to play both to get the points. Clearly not playing at a tournament level but I'm playing this one just for those points. Cha.

Oh yea, the first two DGLO series tournaments counted in the A2CoPS Winter.. That was a test to see if we could include tournaments in the point series.. Mixed opinions on that one.

"This is the first and only time I've heard of points for a tournament solo round."
Yes, this is true. It was my idea to try to combine a league and tournament together. Roc and Rolling is usually the testbed for the 101 to try out new ideas, not just run another two round tournament. Foz, Chris Gee and the Schooley's are to thank for being open to trying this out. Maybe it will catch on with other tournaments, maybe not.. At least it's points right? Some are better than none.
Daemon Stahlin August 27, 2010 at 9:41pm
this it not the first time i've heard of it.

Ben Calhoun August 27, 2010 at 9:28pm
I am not complaining, just asking. This is the first and only time I've heard of points for a tournament solo round.
Daemon Stahlin August 27, 2010 at 9:17pm
you can definitely only play round 1 ben.
Scott White August 27, 2010 at 8:57pm
$20 is the entry fee for all participants
Jacob Quiton August 27, 2010 at 8:47pm
?There is 14 in our pool(counting Daemon)and 11 in theirs(preregged).
Ben Calhoun August 27, 2010 at 8:37pm
Can you play just round #1 (lesser entry fee) just for Church points? I don't like the idea of it being tied to Church points if you have to pay 20$ and play all day, with many more entrants in the lower pool also.
