Good Evening Everyone, This post will serve as the players meeting for Rivers Edge of Madness 2023! A reminder that tournament central will be in the winter sports building, and not in a pavilion. You will be able to check in and collect players pack discs there.
Due to the low turnout for this event, we have decided not to do awards medals for placement, and these deductions will instead be put into payouts.
There is some minor construction on hole 1 of the course for the park to lay some ...

Just spoke to the park, Edge is all clear and good to play for Sunday! There are some small brush piles around the course, but all fairways are clear. There is also a power issue at the pavilion we usually use down by RE Hole 3, so tournament central will be in the winter sports building.

from what the park told me, the brush piles are off the fairways in the woods so they shouldn't be an issue

Until a tree kick puts you in the middle of a brush pile and you can't find your disc or take a stance. Ah well. Is what it is. Thank you

I have reopened registration for any players who still wish to register tonight, it will close again at midnight. However, if you would like to register online tonight, you may do so.

The park has a the date OCT 1st as the target date for reopening of Rivers Edge. 1-9 may be playable but the park has formally stated OCT 1st for the layout. I read that in a post elsewhere.

two rounds of River's Edge - baskets will be in the long positions
Is there anyway we could be allowed casual relief should any brush piles have been left just off fairways in spots they wouldn't normally be instead of having t fight through them if we get off the fairway some? Or are they not an issue where they may be?
