4/25 update: The wooded part of the course got completely flooded out and is only playable by boat at the moment. We are going to have to move to the other side of the course and play Renegades Trail, but I'm glad we have that option over having to cancel the event. The new layout is going to be Renegades Trail 18 holes, short to short for Recreational and Novice divisions and short to long for Intermediate, Advanced, and Pro divisions. I'll be updating the information in Discgolf Scen ... more

We will be waiving the handling fees and issuing full refunds for withdrawals due to the late course change. Thank you everyone for your understanding.

Phillip Sanchez   April 25, 2022 at 10:27pm

Do the refunds work the same with people on the wait list that don't get to play?

Shea Abbgy   April 25, 2022 at 11:48pm

Yes.

Shea Abbgy    May 4, 2022 at 1:24pm

Payouts were sent out Monday. If you do not see an email from Great Lakes Disc please check you spam folder.

Submitting the event report and payouts and 50/50 to GLD shortly. If you are receiving a payout, it will be emailed to you. Let me know if you have a different email than the one you used for the event. Thanks again for a great event and I greatly appreciated the players being flexible with the last-minute course changes. Cheers!

Melvin and I would like to be moved to MPO since we didn't get anyone else to join us. If it is an issue with how late the request is that is fine with us.

Can I move to the am3 division, please and thank you.

Anthony Wasyl    April 28, 2022 at 10:04pm

If I got in the event I didn't mean to hit the withdraw button

Gary Vigil   April 29, 2022 at 12:55pm

Was there an issue or are you just letting us all know you almost withdrew by accident?

Brandon Braisted    April 28, 2022 at 11:08am

Do we still have to pay for parking?

Gary Vigil   April 28, 2022 at 12:44pm

Yes, I'm pretty sure its $5 per car for parking. The playing fee of $5 is already covered in your entry fee.

Brandon Braisted   April 28, 2022 at 1:59pm

Awesome! Much appreciated.

Jeremy Kemp    April 25, 2022 at 10:45pm

Could I please get a refund. I was looking forward to Rivers edge.

Gary Vigil   April 26, 2022 at 12:14pm

No problem, 'Rivers Edge of Sadness' now am I right? You can get refunded by withdrawing from the event. That will initiate the refund request and GLD will get that processed shortly.

Jeremy Kemp   April 26, 2022 at 3:40pm

Apparently I'm computer illiterate. I dont see where I can withdraw someone help please lol

Shea Abbgy   April 26, 2022 at 3:56pm

Jeremy you can withdraw and/or edit your registration through the "registered players" page. I will go ahead and process your request.

Hi! When will the schedule be posted for times, etc? :)

Gary Vigil   April 25, 2022 at 1:32pm

Posted, thanks for the heads up that it was missing!

Gary Vigil    April 18, 2022 at 3:36pm

The layout has been added to Udisc if anyone wants to practice it or use it for a backup card during the tournament. Our 18 holes will have a total par of 57 with par 3 for all holes except par 4's on holes 2, 6, and 10.

Joseph Richardson    April 14, 2022 at 3:17pm

can we expand it to 80?

Gary Vigil   April 14, 2022 at 3:28pm

No plans to expand over 72.

Philip “Flip” Balger Scott   April 15, 2022 at 6:51am

The Royal we tho?

Gary Vigil   April 15, 2022 at 2:00pm

Not sure what you are quite asking Phil, but to add to why I want to cap it. It's because River Edge plays slower and doesn't have a lot of easy expansion space without taking over some of the other side. 72 on 18 holes will keep things moving.

Ashley Ray    April 12, 2022 at 2:26pm

My rating went up to above the division I’m in, I don’t see any other females in FA2, but that is the division I have to be in now. Can I have mine switched to FA2?

Gary Vigil   April 12, 2022 at 3:36pm

Updated you to FA2, thanks for letting us know!

Ashley Ray   April 12, 2022 at 5:12pm

Thank you!

Gary Vigil    April 11, 2022 at 6:23pm

Layout update 4/11 Due to some slightly watery conditions on the course coming up the event we are going with the current layout of the course with a mix of shorts and longs to avoid as much casual water as possible.

Normal basket placements on 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 18
Short pin postions for 3, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17

OB Lines will be painted for the roadways and parking lots, there is also OB water if you are in the river and surrounded by water, but inland water plays as casual ... more

Can a caddy or spectator bring a dog to the tournament.

Rob McNeal   April 7, 2022 at 9:56pm

Per PDGA rules a caddy must follow the same rules at competitors. So a caddy can't bring a dog.

Wesley Shinevar   April 8, 2022 at 2:04pm

The above is correct.

Matthew Hutsell    April 7, 2022 at 1:45am

I recently went out and played rivers edge over the weekend and noticed that some of the basket locations on holes have been moved up or changed, notably holes 3, 9, and 17. Are these new basket locations the ones we will be playing in the tournament? Thanks

Gary Vigil   April 7, 2022 at 1:15pm

The goal is to get them in their regular positions before the event, but there might be a few short pins if it helps us stay away from flooding. I'll update with the final layout shortly, but at this time plan on regular long pin placements.

Jeremy Kemp    March 28, 2022 at 1:06pm

Is the layout going to be the same both rounds?

Gary Vigil   March 29, 2022 at 1:56pm

Same layout both rounds, most likely sticking with the Rivers Edge standard layout with the possibility of a change if we experience any flooding.
