What about pad locations? Are we playing from the long pads as they are the only poured pads?

Shea Abbgy   July 7, 2021 at 7:16pm

Yes. We are throwing from the concrete pads.

Josiah Lonsway   July 7, 2021 at 9:53pm

Thank you

Do we have an ETA on tee times for Sunday ?

First round at Brewer at the AM's, hole 7... I forgot to grab my pink, first run Raptor up by the basket to the right. Whomever picked it up, please bring it to the tournament tomorrow, thanks. Adam Reuss

Please excuse me for this question can you tell me what tee times mean? I have an idea but don't want to speculate.

For Sunday rounds they will post Sat night a set time for each card to tee off at the designated course(Hammond) for instance a 10:05 am tee time you would need to be to Hammond and ready to tee ten minutes prior to the time posted. Everyone will start on hole 1 and finish on hole 18.

Is the early check in for players from 3-6p on Thursday at Spectrum?

Shea Abbgy   July 7, 2021 at 7:34am

No. Please observe the schedule posted on the discgolfscene about page.

Jason Shear   July 7, 2021 at 1:55pm

Ahh, so early check-in & player pack pick up is during the party from 6-9pm? It only referenced the party on the about page, so just want to clarify

Shea Abbgy   July 7, 2021 at 2:23pm

Yes Jason.

Is there any drone footage/tournament footage/ or just filmed rounds of the layout at Hammond Hills that MA3 will be playing, I have never played there before and probably won’t be able to get in a round between now and Sunday and it would be helpful to get a preview of some of the holes so I am not going into it completely blind.

Crew42 did post coverage of the long layout (Hammond Hill Grand Prix), but not all the holes are the same (since for River Caity Open it’s a mix of long and shorts). Can still give you a look at the park before you get out there, not our layout but still.

Zack Volkers   July 8, 2021 at 2:08pm

They just uploaded the current layout!

Shea Abbgy    July 6, 2021 at 6:57pm

ATTENTION: Due to the flooding at Riverside Park we will not be playing there this weekend for this event. We will move forward with the course schedule announced earlier this week. You can find that in the comment directly below this. We will be updating discgolfscene and PDGA throughout the day.

If we play Hammond, will hole 11 be the U-shaped mega hole that goes past the big sprawling tree trunk? Or will it be the long pin that is over the path to the right after you hyzer in?

Thanks

If we play Hammond hills will the layout be the same as it was in the Hammond hills Grand Prix tournament this year?

Shea Abbgy   July 4, 2021 at 2:01am

No. They are moving the baskets tomorrow to the positions would be playing at RCO.

Elijah Bernstein   July 4, 2021 at 2:09am

Ok thanks

Trevor Potter    July 4, 2021 at 12:03am

If we play Hammond on Sunday, what will the pin positions be? Will they be what they are currently or will it change?

Shea Abbgy   July 4, 2021 at 12:09am

They will be moving the baskets into the positions we would use for RCO Sunday 7/4.

Jay Frye    July 3, 2021 at 3:44pm

Is there any room for this tournament? How far down on a wait list would I be if I register?

Riverside underwater today… does it usually clear up within a week?

Shea Abbgy   July 3, 2021 at 9:32pm

It is likely the flooding will subside by the time of the event. Will the course be playable is another question. I just posted more information about Riverside Park.

Drake Evans   July 5, 2021 at 1:15am

Thanks so much for clearing it up. Excited whichever way it pans out!

Elijah Bernstein    July 2, 2021 at 7:42pm

How do prizes work with tee times? I have only done shotgun start tournaments in the past, also are we playing long grass as OB for red tees at brewer?

Shea Abbgy   July 3, 2021 at 9:30pm

Hole prizes will only be available Saturday. Players can collect those Sunday upon check in for their tee time. Divisional prizes will be awarded as divisions finish Sunday. Brewer will have some painted OB lines. Lines will be painted by the end of the day Wednesday 7/7.
