We're changing the format for our annual family disc golf tournament and toy drive this year to make it more child centered. Our "Reindeer Games" is scheduled for Saturday, December 16th. Tournament check-in at 8:45am and shotgun start at 9:15am.
Teams will consist of one child and one adult. You will register under the child’s age (age protected divisions include: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 years old.
Everyone will play a modified 9-hole from (extra short tees) using an alternate shot format. Your team will take the best drive, then will play alternate shots until the hole has been completed. The parents will play using a putter only round, while the child will use their player's pack disc (Fuse or Compass) and a putter of their choice.
After the round, we will have a putting station and CTP throw off for the kids; as well as pictures with Santa!
The cost is $20 per team, plus one unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more in lieu of green fees. All toys and additional money raised will be donated to a local charity in the Helotes area. The $20 covers the following:
Player's Pack Disc for the child (Fuse or Compass)
Prizes for games
*Picture with Santa
Santa will be on site to help with check-in and player photos (after the event). So bring a camera, grab your child and have an incredible experience out on the course!
