Raven Newsom - Disc Golf Clinic

About this tournament
This is a 3-hour clinic with professional disc golfer Raven Newsom, hosted by the Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club.
Raven is an MVP sponsored player, currently ranked in the top 75 of all MPO players on the US Disc Golf Tour. He has over 22 wins and placed 17th(!) at PDGA Worlds in 2023. He consistently maintains a player rating of over 1010. He will spend time focusing on forehands, backhands, and putting. There will be dedicated time for Q&A as well as individual instruction/feedback on the content reviewed during the clinic so you can know you'll walk away able to apply the skills necessary to be a better disc golfer!
Beyond just being an incredible disc golfer, Raven has been formally teaching others how to improve their disc golf skills since high school. He has taught over 500 lessons that have covered the gamut from 1-on-1 instruction to teaching groups of kids in school. Running clinics and teaching others continues to be an integral part of his life as a professional disc golfer.
Each participant will receive one disc of their choice: A Glitch, Time Lapse, or Pyro
Additional discs will be available for purchase.
In order to ensure effective instruction and time for feedback this event will be capped at only 25 participants, so please sign up early. Openings are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis!
