About this tournament
Team Time Trial! This is a new style of play we are trying out.
It's Team vs. Team, but not in the normal way. While teams will be rated on their combined score, they will also be rated on how fast they traverse the course.
Playing the course separately, one player first goes through the course as quickly as possible, while still abiding by the normal course rules. Once the first player finishes their round, the must rush to the check-in Table, log their end time and tag their player to go play their round following the same parameters.
Once both players are finished, their times and scores will be added together separately. Giving a Team Time and Team Score. This Tournament is based more off of Time then Score mind you, but the score is still important. For every Negative Stroke, the Team will lose 1 min. off of their combined score.
example:
A time of 2h 15m. for the team and a combined score of -5 will drop their Time to 2h 10m.
In addition, a Team's Score will be used to break Ties with Times. In the Event, that there will be a Tie on both Time and Score, we will be doing a CTP throw off with the all the players involved from Hole14s Drop Zone to Hole14s Basket.
This is an experimental game type and there will be "kinks" in it, please be aware of this if you attend and be patient. Thank you
