About this tournament
Quarry Park Doubles Championship 2023!
Two rounds of doubles at England's highest rated course.
The event fee is £27.50 per player.
This price includes green fees for the day, which will then be donated to the club to support outreach and junior programmes throughout the community.
There will also be a custom stamped event disc included, courtesy of Kastaplast.
The first round will be best shot doubles and will take place at 10am.
Groups for the second round will be sorted by score. The afternoon round will be alternate shot doubles and will take place at 2pm (minimum one hour between rounds).
Players can enter as a pair or opt into the singles pool to be randomly drawn with their partner. Using the same team name as your partner will automatically sort the pairing.
Players of all ability are greatly encouraged to participate at this event. There are four titles on offer to cater for players at different skill levels.
All teams will be entered into the Open and Handicapped competition.
Teams with one FPO eligible player will have the opportunity to compete for the mixed title.
Teams with two FPO eligible players will have the opportunity to compete for the women's title.
This event is trophy only. There will be no cash/vouchers for title winners.
We are pleased to announce that Burning Plough BBQ will be offering catering for the event. They will be providing an array of excellent lunch options, in addition to breakfast with sufficient interest.
Car parking and toilet facilities are available on site. We will be purchasing two additional toilets for the event. This will allow for toilet access at 6 distinct points on the course.
The quarry park pro shop will be open all day. Drinks and snacks, in addition to disc golf equipment, will be available to purchase.
