About this tournament
The Twin Tiers Disc Golf Club is dedicated to growing the sport of disc golf through the sharing of knowledge and a focus on youth development. Ages 4-13 often have the least opportunity to enjoy this fun sport as the majority of clubs focus on adult events and most WNY schools have not introduced disc golf in their curriculums. Quaker Lake is kind enough to offer their facilities for a temporary course across from the Rental Office. GPS can find the location by searching "Three Sisters Trail, Allegany State Park" which is a few minutes south of the Lake on ASP Route 3.
The first 52 children registered will receive a free disc. We will be teaching basic fundamentals and rules of disc golf through a series of skills stations (putting/accuracy/rules) and allowing kids to play a round and keep score on a miniature disc golf course. Parents are encouraged to walk along during the round, however it is not required. There will be a staff present in each group. The event is free thanks to the support of Project Play Western New York https://www.projectplaywny.org
This is the last event of our summer series and we expect to have a lot of fun! Please register by clicking the link above and selecting the appropriate age group. 8/24 Update: the Event is going to take place next to the Recycling Center, less than a mile down the road from the Rental Office and visible from the road.
